• Preparation of monthly management accounts as and when required
• Leading audit exercise, responding to audit queries.
• Review of data entry and approval on a daily basis – general journal entries, AR receipts, AP invoices and AP payments.
• Review of payments to ensure accuracy in the process.
• Review of VAT returns before submission. I also ensure that the returns are submitted in time to avoid penalties from the tax authorities.
• Posting AR invoices.
• Review of monthly bank reconciliations.
• Payments processing for all  transactions and managing cash flows for FTK
• Assist the FM in maintaining the tax liability sheet.
• Revenue analysis on monthly basis.
• Related party reconciliations on monthly basis (group).
• Asset Register Management and recognition of depreciation on monthly basis.
• Posting of Staff cost (salaries) and associated accruals on monthly basis.
• Managing the Prepayment account.
• Protecting Group Values by keeping information confidential

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.
