VACANCY: IMPLEMENTATION AND SUPPORT ENGINEER

Job Purpose
The Implementation and Support Engineer is responsible for implementing the software at different client locations and later provide offsite and onsite support for the same.
Key Roles and responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
- Conduct system discovery workshops and process analysis
- Perform fit-gap analysis and recommended best practice solutions
- Prepare functional designs and business requirement documents
- Design end to end finance and operations processes
- Configure core finance, modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting)
- Configure inventory, procurement, and sales processes
- Set up chart of accounts, financial dimensions, posting groups/profiles, tax/VAT, and fiscal calendars
- Configure workflows, approvals, and security roles
- Define data migration requirements and validate migrated data
- Reconcile opening balances and financial data
- Develop test scripts and lead system and user acceptance testing
- Identify defects and work with technical consultants on resolutions
- Provide functional input for integrations with third-party system
- Validate financial postings and transaction flows
- Prepare training materials and conduct end-user training
- Support cutover planning and go-live activities
- Provide post-go-live functional support and troubleshooting
- Recommend process improvements and system optimizations
- Support reporting requirements and financial statement configuration
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Support Responsibilities.
- Provide first-and second-line functional support to users
- Analyze and resolve finance, inventory, procurement, and sales-related systems issues
- Investigate and resolve posting errors and reconciliation discrepancies
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Troubleshoot workflow, approval, and security role issues
- Assist users with transaction corrections and security role issues
- Support report generation and financial statement accuracy
- Perform system health checks and configuration reviews
- Escalate technical issues developers where necessary
- Test and validate system fixes before deployment to production
- Support patch updates and system upgrades testing
- Maintain functional documentation and knowledge base articles
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and audit requirements
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and audit requirements
- Support data corrections and master data maintenance
- Assist with change requests and minor system enhancement
Educational Level and experience required for the position
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ proven experience implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (formerly AX), with exposure to both Core Finance and Supply chain modules.
- Proven experience delivering at least four (4) full-cycle D365 Finance & Operations implementations.
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, system configuration, data migration, testing, user training, and go-live support.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and end to end financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Cost accounting.
- Solid knowledge of data migration tools within D365 Finance Operations, including Data Management Framework (DMF).
- Experience working in structured project environments using implementation methodologies. Knowledge of workflow configuration, security role management, and business process modeling in D365 F&Q
